Wanzl GmbH & Co. KGaA is a German manufacturer of shopping trolleys and luggage transport trolleys based in Leipheim. The Wanzl Group operates in the Retail Systems (shopping trolleys), Shop Solutions (shopfitting), Logistics + Industry, Airport, Hotel Service and Access Solutions (access control) divisions and employs around 4,600 people worldwide, 2,100 of them in Germany.
At the beginning of July, we planned and designed a summer party for our client's employees at the company's headquarters in Leipheim. After the intensive Corona years, the management of the owner-managed family business wanted to deepen the personal contact with their employees and thank them for their daily commitment. 

The day began with a reception and the honouring of the long-serving employees. During a joint summer breakfast with songs composed especially for the jubilarians, the management thanked the guests of honour and reviewed the past decades. Early in the afternoon, almost 2,000 employees and their families arrived at the Wanzl family day with the motto "A look behind the scenes". During various tours of the factory, the families were able to look at the workplaces and gain an insight into Wanzl's product portfolio. 

Special highlights were the shopping trolley production and the tour of the Creative Centre. The digitalised high-tech minishop "My Mobile Store" in front of the headquarters in Leipheim was also a visitor magnet. In the fun & games area, there were themed shopping trolley courses to traverse, as well as face painting, handicraft activities and bull riding. The live band on the main stage also ensured a good atmosphere.
