Last Saturday, 4 November 2017, the lantern making campaign organised by Full Moon and Korbmayer for the benefit of Future4Kids e.V. took place on Schlossplatz in Stuttgart.

As last year, Full Moon was both sponsor and organiser together with the Stuttgart children's clothing shop Korbmayer. Together with their parents, the children had the whole day the opportunity to make and design colourful lanterns for the evening lantern parade. For each lantern making kit 5 Euro were donated to the project "Refugee Kids" of the association Future 4 Kids. The campaign generated income of around 625 euros. A complete success for the association and also for us!

Future 4 Kids is a group of Stuttgart entrepreneurs who work on a voluntary basis. The association is involved where help is needed to improve the living conditions of children and to give them a better future. On the one hand, Future4Kids arranges sponsorships to support around 2000 children in day-care centres in socially disadvantaged parts of Stuttgart. On the other hand, in 2015 the refugee project "Refugee Kids" was developed, through which the association works towards the active integration of refugee children and provides them with long-term and sustainable support in the areas of education, sport and culture.

„In all three areas it is important to us to help locally in Stuttgart and to ensure continuity and quality in our work with the refugee children. The successful integration of the refugee children into our society is the declared goal for all projects. The size of an integration project is not the deciding factor here - every bit of help counts," says branch manager Stefanie Liebig.
