Sozialpolitik Accessible school portal
For the Federal Office for Labour and Social Affairs, Full Moon Communication & Digital, in cooperation with Klett MINT, relaunched the accessible school portal www.sozialpolitik.com. The school portal is set up as a contemporary responsive platform based on TYPO3.
The school portal informs pupils about the different social security systems in Germany in language appropriate for young people. It also raises awareness of the topics of career entry, changes in society and the world of work. The portal is aimed at pupils from the 9th grade onwards at general and vocational schools, special schools and teachers.
The teaching materials "Learner's magazine" and "Teachers' booklet" as well as worksheets and charts are made available on the school portal. The teaching materials were designed accessible from the cover to the entire editorial design. The materials are available haptically in print form and on the web as a downloadable PDF.
The pupils have the opportunity to deal with current socio-political topics via integrated digital learning formats. The types of tasks are varied and range from simple multiple-choice questions to drag & drop applications and gap text tasks.
The school portal is designed accessible according to BITV and includes guides in easy-to-understand language as well as explanations in German sign language. Teachers can use an integrated ordering system to order and download class sets of the learner's magazine and the teacher's booklet free of charge. In the teacher's guide, teachers can find lesson plans and further tasks.
