More than 600 customers, suppliers, press representatives and students experienced everything worth knowing about the latest drive technologies at GETRAG's 7th DRIVETRAIN FORUM at the site of the Magna subsidiary in Untergruppenbach. Under the motto "POWERTRAIN Meets Future", future drive technologies and technical trends such as autonomous driving and electrification were presented in various lecture series at the back-to-back congress designed by Full Moon Event. There, the participants had a wide range of vehicles with the latest technologies at their disposal, from electric-powered runabouts to sporty racers with over 500 hp - and thanks to a specially designed participant management system, there were hardly any waiting times when taking over the vehicle. An exhibition of powertrain exhibits in the foyer also highlighted the joint strength of Magna Powertrain and GETRAG. Particularly in the area of efficient transmission and all-wheel drive systems. Further items on the programme were transmission workshops and guided tours through the prototype construction.
